Temporary Road Closure – Canterbury Road, Dunkirk – 25th October 2021 (Swale District)

It will be necessary to close part of Canterbury Road, Dunkirk from 25th October 2021, with estimated completion by 29th October 2021.

Canterbury Road, Dunkirk will be closed between the junctions with Horselees Road and Courtenay, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for traffic travelling eastbound is via The Street, Stockers Hill, Canterbury Road, A2 Boughton Bypass westbound, Boughton Bypass eastbound, London Road (Upper Harbledown), Upper Harbledown slip, A2 Dover Road (westbound), Dunkirk Slip Westbound and Canterbury Road.

The alternative route for traffic travelling westbound is via Canterbury Road, A2 Boughton Bypass (Eastbound), London Road (Upper Harbledown), Upper Harbledown slip, A2 Dover Road (Westbound), A2 Boughton Bypass (Westbound), A2 Boughton Bypass (Eastbound) and Canterbury Road. 

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while vegetation works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
