It will be necessary to close A251 Faversham Road, North of Buck Street, Challock from 13th July 2022 with estimated completion by 14th July 2022.
A251 Faversham Road will be closed for the entire length.
The alternative route for Southbound traffic is via A251 Ashford Road, A2 Canterbury Road/London Road/Brenley Corner/Boughton Bypass/A2 Dover Road/Harbledown Slip Eastbound On, A2050 Harbledown Bypass/Rheims Way, A28 Wincheap Green/Wincheap/Thanington Road/Ashford Road/Canterbury Road, A252 Maidstone Road/The Street and A252 Canterbury Road.
The alternative route for Northbound traffic is via A252 Canterbury Road/The Street/Maidstone Road, A28 Canterbury Road/Ashford Road/Thanington Road, A2 Dover Road/Boughton Bypass/Brenley Corner/London Road/Canterbury Road and A251 Ashford Road.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new utility connection works are undertaken by South East Water.
