To allow sewer installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Porters Lane, Ospringe.
A closure is planned from 10th February 2023, with estimated completion by 7th April 2023, or where stated on a valid Permit (LQ003SWAT11892750-05 Southern Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network
Porters Lane will be closed at the junction with Brogdale Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer installation works are undertaken by Southern Water.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Brogdale Road, A251 London Road, Canterbury Road, A251 Ashford Road, Porters Lane and vice versa.
