FAVERSHAM HOP FESTIVAL 2022 (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow the Faversham Hop Festival to be held, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on various roads in Faversham on or after 3rd September 2022 for up to 2days or until the event has finished.

The following roads will be closed between the hours of 08:00 and 19:00 on both days, with the roads re-opened as soon as it is safe to do so.


• Court Street – between the junctions with Crescent Road and Market Place.
• East Street – between the junctions with Newton Road and Preston Street.
• Market Place–for its entire length.
• Market Street – for its entire length.
• Middle Row – for its entire length.
• Preston Street – between the junctions with East Street and Station Road/Forbes Road.
• Stone Street – between the junctions with Preston Street and Union Street.
• West Street – between the junctions with Market Place and North Lane.
• Leslie Smith Drive–for its entire length.
• Bank Street – for its entire length.
• Partridge Lane – between the junctions Court Street and Thomas Road.
