Dargate Road, Yorkletts (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2022

To allow manhole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dargate Road, Yorkletts.

A closure is planned from 22nd October 2022, with estimated completion by 30th October 2022, or where stated on a valid Permit (GE05013687643-02 – Kent County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Dargate Road will be closed outside numbers 38 to 42, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole replacement works are undertaken by Westley SE Ltd.

The alternative route for Westbound traffic is via Dargate Road, A299 Thanet Way and Highstreet Road. The alternative route for Eastbound traffic is via Highstreet Road, A299 Thanet Way, Unnamed Road From Highstreet Road To Plumpudding Lane, Highstreet
Road, A299 Thanet Way, A299 Thanet Way Slip Way, A2990 Thanet Way, A290 Clapham Hill, A299 Westbound Slip Onto A299 From Wraik Hill Roundabout, A299 Thanet Way and Dargate Road.
