To allow traffic management to be in place to support frame and cover replacement works on B2040 East Street, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Faversham.

A closure is planned from 30th August 2022 at 19:00, with estimated completion by 31st August 2022 at 06:00, or where stated on a valid Permit (LQ003SWAT11976587-01 – Southern Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Church Road will be closed at the junction with B2040 East Street, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while frame and cover replacement works on B2040 East Street are undertaken by Southern Water.

There is no alternative route for this closure.
