Canterbury Road, Dunkirk

(TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2022

To allow carriageway works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily impose a mandatory 30 mph speed limit on Canterbury Road, Dunkirk.

A 30 mph speed limit will be imposed from 6th October 2022, with estimated completion by 6th March 2023, or where stated on a valid Permit
(BC00807THSEPNDJWS464-01 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

The 30 mph speed limit will be imposed from outside New Barn to outside Christchurch House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The speed restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway works are undertaken by Openreach.
