Air quality action plan consultation reminder

Message forwarded on behalf of Clare Lydon (Senior Scientific Officer)

Air quality action plan consultation reminder:

We’re updating our air quality action plan and want to hear from you. The current air quality action plan ends in December, and we’re planning how we’ll continue to improve air quality in your area from 2023 to 2028.

The draft plan focuses on improving air quality across the whole borough, as well as in our six air quality management areas (AQMAs).

We want to include more car clubs, more electric vehicle charging points and to better connect town centres, so we can promote public transport, walking and cycling options.

This consultation closes on the Sunday 15 January, 2023. Take a look at the future 5 year plan and have your say at http://www.swale.gov.uk/aqap-consultation.
